Medical Coverage
In our continuous effort to make acupuncture treatments more accessible, we accept United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna health insurance. We also work with Worker’s Comp coverage.
Please check with your provider if acupuncture is covered under your plan or get in touch with us to check coverage eligibility.
United Healthcare Policy
Depending on the case, United Healthcare may request additional documentation prior to issuing payment. This may include letters from your doctor, medical records and other supporting documentations.
Cost
Our acupuncture sessions are 1.5 hours long and include consultation, energy work, essential oil treatment and light therapy. The cost per session is $120.
*While the cost per session helps us offset our operating expenses and provides a livelihood, we understand that this amount may not be accessible for everyone as financial strain may prevent an investment in personal health. If you are moving through such a period, we are pleased to offer sliding scale sessions $90 – $120. Please let us know at the time of booking an appointment.
Preparing for a Session
Not Too Full
Be sure not to eat immediately prior to the appointment, arriving not hungry and not too full.
Stillness
If possible, please arrive earlier and spend some time in stillness prior to the session. We have a lovely space for meditation and quiet. Likewise, please take advantage of the space after the session and take some time for integration and reflection.
Comfortable Clothing
Wear loose-fitting or comfortable clothes.
Intention
Set an intention for your healing session.
